Welcome to the First Church Nursery!
The First Church Orlando nursery program is for children eight weeks through four years of age. We are called to receive, nurture and treasure each child as a sacred gift from God. Should you have questions, concerns or ideas to share please contact Vandie Loper, Nursery Director.
Nursery Schedule
Sundays: 8 a.m. – noon
Wednesdays: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (schedule also applies to the Fun Zone for children up through fifth grade)
Thursdays: 6:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
Drop-Off
The nursery is located on the second floor of our ministry center. Ways parents can help for smooth the transition for their child(ren) when they are dropped off at the nursery include labeling all children’s belongings, printing and filling out a Nursery Enrollment Form before arriving at the church , jotting down any special instructions when you sign your child(ren) in, bringing your child(ren) to church on a regular basis for consistency and familiarity, packing a child’s favorite comfort item as needed (ie: blanket, clothing item or pacifier – no toys, please). A diaper bag tag will be provided.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to volunteer in the nursery and with our Pre-K Sunday school classes. Click on this link if you are interested in volunteering. Specific questions about the Children’s Ministries volunteer process and application should be directed to Holly Eby, Director of Children’s Ministries. Please fill out the to save time when dropping off your child for the first time.
Nursery Online Reservation
Reservations are required for ALL non-Sunday nursery. Make your reservation by completing this form. Reservations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the event. This is necessary to ensure proper staffing. You may register for an event up to a month in advance. If you are unable to attend a gathering for which you register your child(ren) in the nursery, please inform the nursery staff of your cancellation by sending an email to our Nursery Director Vandie Loper. The form below allows you to register for four dates with a single submission.
Please note that if this is the first time your child(ren) has come to our nursery, a Nursery Enrollment Form must be completed and turned in at or before drop-off.
