Our Ministry
Inviting and Inspiring Worship
In our worship we join in a practice thousands of years old. We add some modern elements, but we strive to keep it simple and engaging. A typical worship service may include a welcome and opening prayer, scripture readings, silent prayer and meditation, an offering, the Lord’s Prayer, the sermon, music, and being sent back out. Disciple Forming Small Groups
Jesus invited each one of us to follow Him, to become a disciple, and the fruit of our discipleship is to make new disciples. We offer small groups as a means for creating community in which we can grow together. Click to Learn More.
Passionate Service Seeking Justice and Mercy
Our worship for the Lord is made complete in our service to those who are in need. We see our service as an expression of the love of God. We know God is already work in Orlando, and the world, we seek to join in His work, already in progress. Click to Learn More.
Gifted, Equipped, and Empowered Volunteer Leaders
We believe ministry is best accomplished by the whole church. Our pastors are committed to leading lay people to discover and develop their ministries. We are all co-workers in the ministry of God’s church. The leadership team of Commune is made up of committed volunteers, pastors, and staff all working together.
Authentic Community through Shared Life
We want to foster authentic community: an authentic community will share life with one another, whether it be meals or fasting, laughter or weeping, celebrations or financial woes.
