Commune: Young Adult Ministry
Our goal is ministry for, with, and to young adults in Orlando. The needs of twenty-thirty somethings is so diverse. Commune offers a number of connection points. We believe community, real relationships that share life, are important. We also hear a call to work to change our city and world. We invite you to join us on our journey through life and faith.
Wednesday Dinner and Discussion Group
Practical teaching, great food, and a commitment to community mark this group. Dinner is served at the church each Wednesday from 5 to 6:30pm, to accommodate busy schedules. We then break off to meet as a small group for discussion and prayer. This is a great way to get to know some other young adults at the church, and also discuss issues of faith together. Most people in this group are late 20′s and 30′s, including singles, married, and young adults with kids.

Sunday Night Community Group
This evening group gathers at 8pm at the church and seeks to grow spiritually, personally, and in our relationships. We believe that following God is best done in a supportive and fun group. The topics allow you to jump in anytime.
Most people in this group are in their early to mid 20′s.
MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)
MOPS is a Christian program for mothers of children ages, birth to kindergarten, that provides a fun and casual atmosphere to enjoy fellowship with other mothers while your children are lovingly cared for in our nursery. MOMS next
Moms next is a Christian program for Moms of elementary-age children that provides a fun and casual atmosphere to enjoy fellowship with other mothers. More information about MOMS Next can be found through the MOPS website by clicking here.
Men’s Groups
First Men are an all inclusive men’s ministry which encompasses the entire adult male membership at First Church Orlando. If you are a man connected to First Church in any way, you are a member of First Men. We are also open to all men seeking Christ. We are helping men begin and continue their journey in search of becoming a better husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Join in our all-inclusive movement seeking a closer relationship with Christ and with the other men of our church. Groups meet at a variety of times and days during the week.
