10/26 Day of Service

Saturday, October 26 • 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Each week we’ve talked about why you matter. Your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness are important to God, to us, and to the world. Together, we can show the Orlando community that they matter too! Sign up for a local service project and volunteer alongside family and friends on our day of service.

United Against Poverty: Volunteers will serve in multiple capacities at the UP Center. There are opportunities for volunteers of all ages and abilities to participate.

Landscaping: We’er organizing and executing landscaping projects around the city. More details will be provided as we get closer to the event date. Special Instructions: Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water/sun protection.

Kinneret Towers: We’re hosting a “reverse trick-or-treat” event for the residents at Kinneret Towers. Kinneret Towers is a senior-living community in downtown Orlando. Volunteers will assemble bags of treats and go door-to-door delivering the bags to the residents in the towers.

We already filled all the volunteer spots for this project. Way to go First Church!
