More about the Pensacola Children’s Chorus
The Pensacola Children’s Chorus was founded in 1990 and serves as the leading organization for choral arts for children and youth in Northwest Florida. Charged with a mission to instill quality music education through the study of classical choral music and musical theater, PCC provides programming for over 250 singers annually throughout its regular concert season. PCC regularly collaborates with other arts organizations in Pensacola, including the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, the Pensacola Opera, the Pensacola Little Theater, the Choral Society of Pensacola, and the University of West Florida.
Since 2016, Alex Gartner has served as the Artistic Director of the organization following the retirement of founders Susan and Allen Pote. Now in its 28th season, PCC continues to celebrate and build upon its rich musical history and strives to innovate its programming to provide new opportunities which enable others to encounter the joy of singing.
