    Composer/Pianist Joseph M. Martin is our guest for a revival of our “Meet the Composer” weekend. Mr. Martin is one of the most prolific and respected composers of choral anthems and musicals in our time.

    Note: communion will not be shared at the 11 a.m. worship service.

  • Liturgy and Word

    Sunday @ 8:15 a.m. in our sanctuary

    A traditional blend of liturgies, creative worship arts including vocal choirs, instrumental ensembles, organ, drama and the Word of God in scripture and sermon.

    Our 8:15 a.m. worship, held in our sanctuary, blends traditional liturgies, creative worship arts including vocal choirs, instrumental ensembles, organ, drama and the Word of God in scripture and sermon. Our early worship service time will change to 8:30 a.m., beginning on February 12, for trial period through Easter. The service will continue to be held in the sanctuary.

  • Contemporary Praise

    Sunday @ 9:30 a.m. in our Contemporary Worship Sanctuary (second floor)

    Contemporary-style worship filled with music provided by the Rock of Ages Praise Band and messages from our pastors.

  • A New Beginning

    For the six weeks between Ash Wednesday (Feb. 22) and Easter (April 8), we will come together as a church family on Wednesday evenings to worship, learn, share a meal and enjoy each others company. There will be opportunities for all ages to grow spiritually. Mark your calendars to join us Wednesday evenings from Feb. 22 – April 4.

  • Promise of Hope

    For busy, stressed out women looking for a time of rest and renewal, the 28th Annual FLUMC Women’s Retreat offers four weekend sessions this winter. To be held at the Life Enrichment Center in Fruitland Park, the retreat carries the name “Promise of Hope.”  Sessions will be held January 20-22, February 3-5, February 17-19 and March 2-4.

    Set your calendars for two exciting concerts are coming early in the New Year. The Music Department invites you to hear the King’s Brass on Thursday, January 12, and composer/pianist Joseph M. Martin on Sunday, February 5. Both these concerts are free to the congregation and community and are sponsored by the Friends of Music.
