We are called to receive, nurture and treasure each child as a sacred gift from God. We offer nursery care for children eight weeks through four years old (Pre-K 4) on Sunday mornings. On Wednesdays, and for special events as requested, child care is available for children eight weeks through fifth grade. Should you have questions, concerns or ideas to share please contact Pastor Becky Postlewait.
Our nursery and child care is found on the second floor, at the end of the hall in our children’s ministry wing. It’s room number 242, or look for the giant “NURSERY” sign above the door.
Childcare is provided for all worship services. If you intend to leave your child(ren) in our care, know they will participate in activities to nurture their spiritual growth.
Sundays: 9:00 am – 12:15 pm
Wednesdays: 6:00 – 8:30 pm
Childcare is often arranged at other times throughout the week when the need arises. If child care is desired for an event outside of the hours listed above, please contact Becky Postlewait.
Our nursery and childcare staff team is carefully trained, fingerprinted, and CPR certified. If you want to know more about our team, please read through our bulletin board located inside the nursery.
Upon arrival for nursery or childcare, parents are required to check their child(ren) in using our digital check-in system. The system prints out two name labels: one for the child’s back and one for parents to hold on to. The parent sticker matches the child’s so we can ensure the right person picks up the right child.
The first time children visit our nursery and childcare, parents must fill out a Welcome Card which provides all the necessary information to care for your kids. This information will be added to our digital system so check-in is quick and easy for all following visits.
Should children bring personal items (diaper bags, lunch boxes, etc.) they must be labeled with the child’s name. This helps us keep track of everyone’s items.
We do not allow any products containing nuts into the nursery.
Please pick up children from the nursery exit door, which is separate from the entrance. One of our child care staff will get your child and their belongings and bring them to the exit. Only the parents listed on the child’s name tag are allowed to pick up children unless prior arrangements are made when children are checked-in to the nursery.
Bringing a child to any of our events with conditions that may be contagious puts other children, our staff, and our elderly population at risk of getting sick. Please keep your child home and consider seeing a doctor if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
While staying home might not be the most fun option, keeping everyone in our church community safe and healthy always is. Thank you for understanding.
If your child experiences any of these symptoms during their time in the nursery you will be immediately notified. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting the health of our children and staff.
