We specifically believe God has called First Church to SEEK, LOVE, & SERVE at the urban core of Downtown Orlando. First Church is uniquely, centrally placed at the intersections of government, the arts, commerce, education, and culture. The cross in our logo also resembles the points of a compass, with arrow points directing us outward toward our neighbors. We believe our calling is to SEEK, LOVE & SERVE, as we intersect and engage each unique element of the Downtown community.

Vacation Bible Camp: An Epic Journey to Discover God’s Kingdom | Sun., June 14 - Thurs., June 18 | $32

Kids are invited on an unforgettable adventure to discover what it means to follow Jesus and live in God’s Kingdom. This year’s VBC will immerse them in a kingdom-themed world filled with magical quests, enchanted lands, and engaging faith-building activities—think Narnia meets a modern Minecraft adventure! VBC is for kids PK3 (by 9/1/2025) to 5th grade.

Pulse Remembrance Ceremony | Friday, June 12 | 5:30 pm | Sanctuary

As we near the tenth anniversary of the Pulse tragedy, the City of Orlando invites our community to come together in a shared spirit of love, reflection, and remembrance. Please join us for the annual Pulse Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, June 12, 2026, in our sanctuary as we honor the 49 lives taken, their families, survivors, first responders, trauma teams, and all who continue to be impacted.

The ceremony will include the reading of the 49 names, the tolling of 49 bells, reflections from family members and survivors, and meaningful musical and cultural performances.

Women's Retreat Day | Sunday, June 14 | 2:00 - 6:00 pm | Third Floor

Join us for Above the Noise, a refreshing women’s retreat designed to help you quiet the distractions of life and tune your heart to God’s voice. Whether you’re seeking clarity, encouragement, or simply space to rest, this retreat offers a meaningful time to pause and reconnect.

Single Adults Ministry Summer Night Out | Saturday, June 20

Join us for a fun evening of connection and laughter! We’ll meet at the church at 5:00 pm and head downtown together for dinner, followed by a 7:00 pm show at SAK Comedy Lab in Church Street Station (just a short 9-minute walk). Tickets are $20.
