First Church is uniquely, centrally placed at the intersections of government, the arts, commerce, education, and culture. The cross in our logo also resembles the points of a compass, with arrow points directing us outward toward our neighbors. We believe our calling is to SEEK, LOVE & SERVE, as we intersect and engage each unique element of the Downtown community.

Join friends from First Church Orlando and Broadway UMC as we explore six of the most important themes in Jesus’ teachings—why they mattered then and how they still speak to us today. Based on Adam Hamilton’s The Message of Jesus: Words That Changed the World, this lunchtime study offers meaningful conversation and spiritual reflection in a relaxed, midday setting.

Help Us Decorate for Give Kids the World! | Sunday, September 21 | Gathering Space
Each holiday season, the Village is transformed with dazzling decorations—not only bringing joy to their guests, but also raising vital funds to keep these life-changing vacations free of charge. Thanks to your generous support, First Church will be sponsoring a tree on this year’s Tree Trail.
Join us on Sunday, Sept. 21 between services to help assemble 150 ornaments for our sponsored tree at Give Kids the World Village.
